ABOUT JANE
Jane Purnell is a film and theater actor who works and plays in New York City. Her roots rest in Virginia’s countryside.
Jane’s performed in many theatrical productions directed by Miguel Bregante, including Dancing at Lughnasa and As You Like It. She recently starred in the upcoming film Speed Queen 51, directed by Sarah Nocquet and co-starring Rory Culkin.
Her training includes a Bachelor of Arts in Drama from the University of Virginia, Voice Production with Page Clements at T. Schreiber Studio, and Shakespeare & Chekhov intensives with Bruce Katzman.
After graduating from UVA, Jane moved to New York to connect with emerging artists, pursue her acting career, and hone her craft. She gravitates towards roles with gentle natures and fiery spirits, continues to learn & evolve, and dreams of the day when she performs in a historical drama TV series.
